Join us at the upcoming Marine Biodiversity Networking Fridays, a unique online platform for the dissemination of marine research, organised by the Atlantic International Research Centre (AIR).
The AIR Centre serves as a collaborative global framework addressing challenges and priorities in the Atlantic Ocean, providing an excellent opportunity for heightened project visibility, international discourse, and networking. The session will also be hosted as a DITTO Summit 2023 (Xiamen) Satellite event.

Coordinator of the project Dr Klaas Deneudt (VLIZ), together with Matthias Obst (University of Gothenburg) and Lynn Delgat (VLIZ) will take the stage in a special interactive discussion in a session moderated by Carolina Perlata (USF).

Mark your calendars for Friday, November 24th, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (UTC) (from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM (CET)) , as the speakers unveil the project's overarching objectives, work plan, and provide an introduction of the demonstrator use cases that will be developed throughout the project's duration. Furthermore, an overview of the recently launched Open Call for marine biodiversity data holders will be presented: the project is offering up to 60,000€ for institutions that manage marine biodiversity data to make their "sleeping data" available to the public domain via EMODnet Biology in order to contribute to the European Digital Twin of the Ocean (EU DTO).
