On Tuesday, 3rd December 2024, an internal training session will be held to present the data products developed within Work Package 3 (WP3) of the DTOBioFlow project. In this context, data products are insights derived from the analysis or modeling of field-collected data. They often involve various interpolation techniques and parameters derived from raw data, offering refined, actionable outputs.
The data products developed within DTOBioFlow are intended to enhance the flow of critical information on marine biodiversity for the EU Digital Twin Ocean (DTO) initiative. These products go beyond raw data, incorporating processed and analyzed outputs specifically tailored to address key research questions and support decision-making processes. They span a broad spectrum of data types, including genomic, imaging, biologging, and acoustic data, demonstrating how these products contribute to the overall objectives of the project.
This training aims to give project partners a comprehensive understanding of these data products, their methodologies, and their pivotal role in advancing marine ecosystem research and management. Ultimately, it seeks to foster deeper collaboration among partners and enhance their ability to integrate these tools into their respective work packages.
