The DTO-BioFlow team is taking part in the High Performance Computing in Science and Engineering 2026 (HPCSE 2026) conference, taking place from 18–21 May 2026 at VSB – Technical University of Ostrava in the Beskydy Mountains in the Czech Republic.
The HPCSE 2026, a long-running international conference organised by IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center, will bring together researchers, scientists and industry experts to explore the latest developments in high-performance computing (HPC), artificial intelligence, high-performance data analytics, quantum technologies and scientific visualisation. Through keynote lectures, technical sessions and poster presentations, the event will provide an important platform for sharing scientific advances and fostering collaboration across the HPC community.
DTO-BioFlow will be represented during the conference poster session by Tomáš Martinovič from IT4Innovations, who will present the poster "Marine video monitoring advances leveraging HPC infrastructure" on behalf of an international team of collaborators.
The poster will showcase how high-performance computing can support the efficient processing and analysis of large-scale marine video datasets, enabling AI-driven workflows for biodiversity monitoring and environmental observation. By highlighting advanced HPC-enabled approaches for analysing marine imagery, the presentation will demonstrate DTO-BioFlow's contribution to developing scalable digital solutions that support marine ecosystem research and strengthen Europe's Digital Twin Ocean ecosystem.
