DTO-BioFlow at the Norwegian Mission Ocean Day

DTO-BioFlow at the Norwegian Mission Ocean Day
-
Trondheim, Norway

DTO-BioFlow is proud to take part in the Norwegian Mission Ocean Day, taking place on 4 December 2025 at the Radisson Blu Royal Garden Hotel in Trondheim, alongside our partners SINTEF, who lead DUC6. Our participation aims to engage potential users, promoting the uptake and application of DTO-BioFlow data and digital outputs, marking an important step toward user-driven testing and feedback.

The event brings together European and Norwegian initiatives under the EU’s Mission “Restore Our Ocean and Waters by 2030”, showcasing innovative solutions and insights from Horizon Europe projects.

This year’s conference focuses on translating European mission goals into local and national action—strengthening collaboration among communities, businesses, and research institutions to protect and restore ocean and water ecosystems.

The event is designed for researchers, businesses, municipalities, counties, agencies, and everyone working toward a sustainable and climate-neutral blue economy. It’s the perfect opportunity to help shape the future of ocean and water policy — and to join a community of experts and innovators dedicated to restoring our shared waters.

DTO-BioFlow Participation

We will deliver a short project-wide and DUC presentation in the morning, followed by an interactive booth in the afternoon where stakeholders can explore the DUC6 demonstrator, share feedback, and discover DTO-BioFlow’s innovative results.

Representing DTO-BioFlow are:

  • Muriel Dunn, Research Scientist (Fisheries and New Biomarine Industry)
  • Raymond Nepstad, Senior Research Scientist

A poster featuring all DUCs and DUC5 brochures will also be showcased throughout the day.

Join us in Trondheim to connect, collaborate, and contribute to Europe’s collective effort to restore our ocean and waters by 2030.
