The DTO-BioFlow project is thrilled to be taking part in the fourth edition of the EMODnet Open Conference, scheduled for 25–26 November 2025 in Brussels.
Hosted during EU Marie Knowledge Week, the conference will bring together the broad marine data community, from in-situ observers and data providers to policy-makers, researchers and industry stakeholders, under the theme “EMODnet: An essential marine data service of the European Ocean Pact”.
At the event, DTO-BioFlow will spotlight its commitment to building sustained and FAIR flows of marine biodiversity data — a key pillar in Europe’s journey toward a robust European Digital Twin of the Ocean. DTO-BioFlow’s work aligns closely with the conference’s focus on marine knowledge services that support EU policy, innovation and the blue economy.
Participation in the conference presents a valuable opportunity for DTO-BioFlow to:
- showcase recent achievements and data-sharing solutions developed under the project;
- engage with the EMODnet community and wider stakeholder network to enhance data interoperability and integration;
- contribute to shaping EMODnet’s strategic roadmap (Vision 2035) and ensuring biodiversity data are embedded in the European marine data infrastructure.
We look forward to connecting with peers, sharing our insights, and further strengthening the role of biodiversity data in understanding and protecting our seas.
