DTO-BioFlow is proud to participate in the Blue-Cloud 2026 Third Federation Workshop, taking place from 5–7 November 2025 at Hotel Le Plaza, Brussels. The event brings together leading experts from the marine, environmental, and climate data communities to advance collaboration and innovation in ocean data services.

Held immediately after the EOSC Symposium 2025, the workshop supports Blue-Cloud’s mission to establish a Thematic Node within the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) — the “EOSC Node: Digital Twin of the Ocean.”

The discussions will focus on how Blue-Cloud federated services contribute to the EOSC ecosystem and empower the Digital Twin of the Ocean initiative, exploring key advances in data interoperability, technical integration, and practical applications for marine research.

On 6 November (16:00–17:30 CET), Shreshtha Sharma, representing the DTO-BioFlow project and TNO, will participate in the session “Supporting Marine Spatial Planning with Data and Services.”

Shreshtha will share insights on Digital Twinning technologies and AI — two sides of the same coin and join the expert panel discussion.

The Blue-Cloud 2026 Third Federation Workshop features hands-on sessions, stakeholder dialogues, and technical reviews — all aimed at advancing open, federated access to marine data and services for a more connected and data-driven ocean science community.
