Lundsgaard Gods, Lundsgaardvej 15, 5300, Kerteminde, Denmark

The International Bioacoustics Society (IBAC), founded in 1969 in Århus, Denmark, brings together global experts in the interdisciplinary field of bioacoustics—the scientific study of sound in the animal kingdom.

The biennial IBAC conference is a leading platform for sharing innovations in bioacoustical research, spanning topics such as marine mammal communication, biosonar, ultrasonic and infrasonic signalling, and the effects of anthropogenic noise on wildlife.

This year, IBAC 2025 takes place in Kerteminde, Denmark, continuing its mission to foster collaboration between biologists, engineers, archivists, and sound recordists from around the world.
