The DITTO Online Event takes place on 13–14 January 2026, bringing together the global Digital Twins of the Ocean (DITTO) community for a series of online sessions showcasing current initiatives, recent advances, and opportunities for international collaboration in Digital Twin Ocean technologies. The event provides an open forum for exchanging ideas and discussing state-of-the-art methodologies, modelling approaches, data integration, and applications that support ocean knowledge, management, and sustainable development.
DTO-Bioflow will be introduced by Matthias Obst, marine ecologist and research leader in the project on January 13th 10:15-10:30 CET. Matthias will deliver a project-wide presentation showcasing how it is activating Marine Biodiversity data, building sustained data flows, and developing real-world Use Cases that support evidence-based policy and hmarine environmental management Digital Twin frameworks.
