The BEeS (Biodiversity and Ecosystem eScience) Conference 2025 will take place in Heraklion, Greece, hosted by the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR), Institute of Marine Biology, Biotechnology, and Aquaculture (IMBBC), from June 30 to July 3, 2025.
It will bring together researchers, policymakers, and experts to tackle the urgent problems of climate change, loss of biodiversity, and pollution. Using advanced eScience and European Research Infrastructures (RIs), the conference aims to find practical ways to address these environmental challenges.
This year’s program will focus on how LifeWatch ERIC’s services, together with new digital technologies, can help speed up progress toward a more sustainable future. Participants will join sessions that include presentations, discussions, and hands-on demonstrations about how technology and data can help protect our environment.
DTO-BioFlow at BEeS 2025
On Day 1 (June 30), DTO-BioFlow will be presented alongside other Research Infrastructures, e-Infrastructures, related projects, and publishers — all working with different parts of the Life component of the Biosphere.
The goal is to work together to support the ONE HEALTH approach in Europe, with help from initiatives like EOSC to make this possible.
Representing DTO-BioFlow will be Christos Arvanitidis (LifeWatch ERIC partner), Klaas Deneudt (VLIZ partner) and Nicholas Pade (MARCO-BOLO partner). We invite you to connect with us during the event to explore ways we can collaborate.
